Celebrate love with our Valentine’s Day tasting menu, available at The Martlet Kitchen, Thursday, 12 February 2026 - Saturday, 14 February 2026.

Enjoy an intimate evening of beautifully crafted dishes, prepared with seasonal ingredients and full of indulgent flavours. Perfect for sharing with someone special.

The menu

On arrival

  • Glass of prosecco or a bottle of Peroni
  • Warm sourdough with cultured butter and truffle nuts

To start

Choose from:

  • Pan fried scallops served with celeriac purée, pickled fennel, samphire and a nori seaweed butter (gf)
  • Crispy chicken wings served with red wine braised chorizo and aioli
  • Baked Camembert for 2 served with honey and truffle dressing, warm breads and a soft herb mayonnaise (gfa) (v)
  • Mozzarella and sun-dried tomato arancini served with parmesan and a red pepper sauce (v)
  • Baked oysters served with grapefruit hollandaise sauce and chervil

Main course

Choose from:

  • Chateaubriand or Porterhouse sirloin steak for 2 available pink or well done served with triple cooked fat chips, roasted tomatoes, mushroom fritters and a peppercorn sauce (gfa)
  • Pan fried Halibut served with purple broccoli, sea kale, herb butter and new potatoes (gf)
  • Chicken breast served with dauphinoise potatoes, leeks, spring onions and a roast onion sauce (gf)
  • Lightly spiced lamb kebab flat bread served with Greek salad and a yogurt dressing
  • Vegetable spring rolls served with a honey and chilli dip, pickled ginger and gochujang mayonnaise (v)

Dessert

Choose from:

  • Creme brulee with cookies and cream
  • Choux bun served with toffee, bananas and passion fruit custard
  • Moelleux chocolate mousse with chocolate and a raspberry crumb (gf)
  • Baked brie and Eccles cake served with bramble jam and sorrel
  • Banana split for 2 served with Grandpa Greene's ice cream, chocolate, affogato syrup and a toffee sauce (gf) (v) (vea)

To finish

  • Homemade macaroon and a raspberry gel
