About this session
Rochdale Town Hall may be magnificent but the grubby mills that funded it were far less glamourous. It’s time to discover all about Rochdale’s rich weaving past and how it felt to be a poor textile mill worker.
Through woven words and hands-on weaving tasks, this fast-paced session uses activities, creative writing and atmospheric sounds to immerse your learners in Rochdale’s textile past.
