The neo-gothic architecture of Rochdale Town Hall makes it one of the most spectacular buildings in the country.
The combination of intricate stained glass windows, beautiful stone carvings and hand-painted walls, makes for an outstanding events space. It has been likened to The Houses of Parliament, St. Pancras Railway Station and Manchester Town Hall.
Since January 2021, a multi-million-pound restoration has taken place, funded by Rochdale Borough Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This work has returned the building to its former glory and opened up new, exciting spaces.
